Quick like a Fox

13 hour day today. The last 2 hours were VERY intense since Jon, Chris, Lucy, Gary, and Shane all went home and all the graphic pressure shifted to ME! I had to make a title for garfield 2 and have it approved for the big chiefs over at Fox in 10 minutes. Jon walked me through most of it by phone, but I was by myself when CMP artists started dictating changes that had to be made on the spot. My After Effects knowledge was really tested...these guys are professionals for a reason. They know good design from bad instantly and they know exaclty what to do to make it better. My boss Jon can do both the artistic and technical stuff VERY well. Just sitting in on meetings with these people really puts me in my place. I have a long way to go to become the next Jon Converse, but that's my goal.

Anyway, like i said, 13 hour day. Eric (temp freelance boss) told me tomorrow I work exclusively for him all day with Lucy and Gary. That means it's going to be a long, tough one. I really hope i get a real weekend this sat/sun. Oh well. I'm still excited to be here. I'll let you know if that changes.
