Pictures
I was able to use a digital camera from work to take these quick pictures.
This one is of Lucy (who was concentrating very hard and not paying attention to me) working at her desk. This is the workspace i used when i first arived to CMP. Looking at this picture it looks very....claustrophobic. Just the the left of the frame of this shot, however, the wall is glass and has blinds on it, making it appear much more open. It's a comfy spot to work at, and i miss it.
This is noramlly Chris' desk. If Lucy turned around 180 degrees she would be facing Chris' screens. The doorway to get into this little office is where i'm standing to take this picture. This is where i have been working for the past 2 days. The computer is identical to Lucy's in terms of speed. The room is pretty dark most of the time, which didn't help the picture quality.
Ahhh. Here is the one you've been waiting for. This is MY space. (not myspace) The cartoon thingy on the window makes it look like a nursery...but there are a LOT of disney type articles displayed all over CMP. You can also see my little partition that i try to put to good use. The hallway leading away goes to the kitchen and the bathrooms, so you can imagine the foot traffic. I was at work until 10:15 tonight, and i took these pics at 9 which is why you don't see many people.
So if i am sitting at my desk and turn around and look up, this is what i see. Looking even higher are skylights.
Ok, so that's about it for now. I'll try to get a few more tomorrow if the opportunity comes around. Right now I'm going to bed. I'm worn out.
