My new computer

So here is the new computer. The old one was 4 years old and did a fantastic job during it's life, but it was fallign apart towads the end. After a final big crash i decided to rescue the data that I could and jump ship.

Specs for those who care:

 Intel Core2 Duo processor E6700 (2.66GHz,1066FSB) w/Dual Core Technology and 4MB cache
2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz
768MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX
500GB NCQ Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200 RPM) w/ 16MB DataBurst Cache

So far so good! It is faster than my work computer and easily twice as fast as the old machine. Looking forward to making some cool things on this.

  • The price of the software on my machine (as you know) GREATLY outweighs the price of the machine itself. Since all my programs are for PC I decided to wait for the mac switch until next hardware upgrade...4 years away. I can always use a mac at work if i need to.
