My Second First Day

So here I am! ...again


I walked into CMP for my second first time with a little more confidence than the last time around. I went to the front door and buzzed reception and was granted access. I walked right up to the third floor and went in (even held the door for a co-worker behind me). It was great seeing Ashley, the receptionist, who was there last year and is very friendly and warm.

I got in pretty close to 9am, so i had to wait a little bit for the employees to get in around 9:15..which seems pretty long when you are standing around doing NOTHING. Jon C got in and we had a little happy handshake reunion, then he had to get to a meeting at 9:30....so more sitting around with nothing to do. I went and bothered Lucy, Shane, and the new senior designer Jaihe (J-HEE(girl(Korean))) until they were sick of me (9:38).

The rest of the day was filled with one solid hour of real work, and the rest just....nothing. I was going to watch WALL*E with Shane, but my hour of work coincided with that. My fedexed keys came late morning so i went home to pick them up. Ate lunch at the apt, and headed back to work at 2. Time passed pretty slowly, and i checked my emails like 80 times. I signed up for a bowling party this friday. Free food and a chance to mingle, so i can't pass that up. Plus....come on it's bowling.

Pictures of the place will have to wait until tomorrow. It's 11 here (2am in my head) and im waking up at 8. Our 'moving in' party is this weekend. apparently 34 people have confirmed coming....and i will know 2 of them. Pete and Mike. Should be alright.
