Jonathan Club
Well this morning at 6:15 Jon was here to pick me up to take me to downtown LA for a little paddle tennis action on the roof of a very expensive athletic club he belongs to. Ironically, the club is actually named the Jonathan Club, so i think he and i are qualified to join. It was probably the best time I've had here so far. The court is about half the size of a regular tennis court and played with a flat tennis ball and paddles. The location alone was enough to have a great time. I was able to grab a few pictures, one from Google Satellite and one from Windows Live Local, to give you a picture of where i was.

The two pictures are looking at the same place. The second one is being taken directly above the building, making it appear to be on the ground.
Anyway, it was a good time. I was pretty dead by the end of the day though. Oh and i got Pete a parking ticket since today is street cleaning day and i wasn't here to move his car out of the way. I now owe the city of LA $35. Super.
I don't have to work tomorrow or sunday, but i need to go rescue Grif from his 10 hour layover at LAX tomorrow. That should be a fun long drive in unbearable heat...it's forecasted to be super hot tomorrow in the valley. And then again blazing hot sunday. Think about that. Now think about how long i'll be in the quality inn pool tomorrow. Something tells me the living room fan isn't going to cut it. If the power cuts out from rolling blackouts, you'll know why it might be a few days before another update.
