My Commute pt 1

I had my best Tuesday ever this week. I was recognized for outstanding work on The Game Plan campaign and got a very generous Best Buy gift certificate. Woohoo! Okay so it wasn't an iphone, but that's alright. I'll wait for the iPhone2. A couple of my other works will be on TV in the near future, probably early November. Also tuesday morning my new ipod came in the mail to work. It. Is. Awesome. I'll update with pictures soon.

Didn't get a chance to play any tennis this weekend, although my boss told me he would rematch me soon. He was surfing this weekend.

Showed Pete around the office this weekend on the way to spend a little of the Best Buy card. He was impressed with the layout. I think he was a little disappointed that my office is bigger than his and 10x cooler. You could see it in his eyes. Through the tears.


Okay so for lack of more interesting information...here is my commute to work.

Just leaving home. See how nice and residential my city can be? Is this East Grand Rapids or Studio City? I can't tell.

Nice little shops line the street. Usually lines out the door for the 'Aroma Cafe'. Never been.

This I find a little weird, the on-ramp to the highway is hidden between buildings up to the left. It's where the orange flags are.

Longest onramp ever. Usually backed up.

Since I took these on a friday, these is significantly less traffic. This is the offramp where it is NEVER this clear of cars. I almost always am stopped still on the highway. I should take my camera more often. The building up ahead is the Disney Channel building.

Construction doesn't help my timing on the commute. They have been working in this area literally since last summer. I dont think they get winter off like Michigan...so I'm guessing they are just really really lazy.

NBC studios. Jay Leno tapes right here, among other NBC shows. Check your local listings.

Before i got my parking spot i had to find parking along either this street or one close by. I see an open spot.

Ally behind our building. My office window is the one above the dumpster.

Back in the day i parked my scooted to the right of the blue car. Now i go down the ramp on the other side of that little wall and through the gate.
