Surrounded by Sound

So it started with a simple thought. An HDTV. Nothing too crazy, but an HDTV would be fantastic for watching sports and movies. It was a great improvement when that day came. We quickly realized we needed an HD DVR to record our shows in HD. Not only that but a HD movie player. Well why not a PS3? It can play Blu-Ray AND play video games. Now we need to get games and blu-ray movies to play on it. Now we need surround sound to hear all the things we're missing!

Well I think we've finally come to the bottom of the slippery slope. The new surround sound is up and running. The whole system looks fantastic.

The speakers are small, but very powerful. Don't underestimate those little guys. The wiring is all done under the carpet and then straight up the wall, making it nearly professional looking.

Playing Guitar Hero is so much better when you can hear the crowd booing you from all angles.

Finally ready for another party at the pad. Or a movie night. Or a video game night. Anything, really, to justify the cost of the system.

Speaking of parties, went to one of my favorite venues in LA last night...Boulevard 3. Pete had VIP which means we could go up on the balcony part of the 'Ballroom' area. Check out pics of this place.
